Privacy policy

This policy explains how AM TINTS UK (trading as AM TINTS, “we”, “us”) looks after personal information when you use this website or get in touch with us. We're based at Accommodation Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, UK.

What we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, vehicle make and model, optional registration, the service you want, an optional preferred date and any message you write.
• Phone and WhatsApp: if you call or message us we'll see your number, name and anything you tell us.
• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider and security tools process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and arrange an appointment (steps you ask us to take before entering a contract).
• To run, secure and improve the website, and prevent spam and misuse (our legitimate interests).
• To meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply.

We don't sell your personal information and we don't use it for automated decision-making. We only send marketing if you've asked for it.

Where your enquiry goes

When you send the form, your details are sent to us by email through an email delivery provider. This website does not keep a separate database of enquiries. The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which analyses interactions on the site to tell people from bots; the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the site and handle your enquiry:

• our website hosting provider (Vercel);
• our email delivery provider, which sends form submissions to us;
• Google, for reCAPTCHA spam protection;
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there; and
• professional advisers or authorities where the law requires.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK (for example in the United States) and rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and for as long as the law requires. After that we delete them.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted or restricted, to object to certain uses, and to receive a copy in a portable format. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

This website is for adults arranging work on a vehicle and isn't aimed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
